Creating a Project and Importing Data

  1. Create a project by selecting Create New Project

  2. Fill out the appropriate Project information to easily identify the project

  3. If you have a CSV roster of data, select Import data on create

  4. Click Create to create the project and go directly to import data

    1. You can find the import data section by opening a project and clicking on the Edit tab then the Import Data button

  5. On the import screen, select the Source data file location of your CSV and click open, the CSV will appear on the right

  6. To import images, select the Image Field under Image Import Settings

    1. Images must be in format [imagename].jpeg (e.g. 12345.jpeg)

    2. You may only import one image per record on initial import not multiple but you can append images to subject records (see below)

  7. Under Source File select the appropriate Destination for your data from the Destination drop-down

    1. To exclude data, simply click the red X to mark as omit

  8. Click Import to generate subject records from the CSV file

  9. Upon import, information from the CSV will be mapped to the corresponding destination field in FLOW per subject record row

Overwriting Imported Project Data

  1. Open your project by double-clicking on the project tile

  2. Click on the Edit tab then click on Import Data

  3. Select the CSV you wish to use

    1. Data in this CSV must have similar information for each subject record you wish to append or adjust information for (e.g. Last Name and First Name)

  4. Select unique record identifier information from the Merge data based on the following fields: and select the fields from the drop-down selection

    1. e.g. First Name, Last Name, Ticket Code etc.

  5. Choose the appropriate Destination from the dropdown sections to overwrite that data

  6. Omit any information that should not be imported by clicking the red X

  7. To append images to your subject records, select Image Import Settings and choose the Image field from the CSV file

  8. Once all information is associated click Import
