Layout Troubleshooting: Image is Rendering with Dummy Placeholder Image Instead of Subject Image
The feature "Use Ordered Image if Available" is the fix for some common issues with layouts.
Problem: Once the layout is applied, images are rendering with the dummy placeholder image on the printwork/layout (not the subject image). It's likely that the layout does not have Use ordered Image if Available selected on the image in the layout.
To fix this:
Open the layout in FLOW
Select the image node in the objects section
Within Image Properties, select the checkbox Use Ordered Image if Available and save the layout.
If you change the name or save it as a new layout, be sure to reassociate the new layout with the package before resubmitting. If you simply make changes to the original layout and save this is not necessary.
