How to Apply FLOW Crop to Original Image

This feature is especially useful for Green Screen images when the GS background should be applied after the crop is set on the image.
  1. Click on the Export Project button on the project tile

  2. Select the ImageMatch tab

  3. Select all the necessary options

    1. Select Save ImageMatch Data/Images Locally

    2. Select Filter options if you are filtering your images

      1. Do not filter by Primary Image as that is done automatically

    3. Select Apply Crops if you are applying crops through FLOW

    4. DO NOT Select Render GreenScreen if you are submitting transparent PNG files for the customer to select a background. In that instance, select Export PNG Image

    5. DO NOT Select Use Original File Names

    6. For JPG Quality, select High (Production) from the dropdown

    7. Select Images to Use

      1. All Images - exports all subject images

      2. Primary Image - only exports images flagged as primary

      3. Yearbook Pose - exports images flagged as yearbook pose, if yb pose is not flagged then primary is exported

    8. Always send Group Photos as Group Photo unless instructed otherwiseimage.png

  4. Click Export IM

Now, at the local destination you specified, there is an exported folder of images that have the crops from FLOW applied to the subject images. Now the images will need to be imported back into FLOW.

Import and Reset Cropped Files

  1. Select the Export for Retouch button in the upper-right corner and select the Import tab

  2. Navigate to the file location for the ImageMatch export of images and select Import

  3. Close and reopen FLOW after the import is complete

  4. Now the crop settings in FLOW need to be reset for those images since they are associated with a different image size. See below for how to do that.

This next set of steps is VERY important

  1. Click the Filter button () and filter by Images set as Primary so that only the primary images display

    1. image.png

  2. Click the Edit tab and then the Adjust Images button to display the crop settings for all filtered images

    1. image.png

  3. On the selected subject image, click the Clear Settings button beneath the selected image

  4. Change the Ratio Setting to what was used originally for the project before IM export (suggested 8x10)

    1. This should set the crop to full frame of the displayed subject image

  5. Click Apply To All to reset the crop on all of the subject images

  6. Now the original images are using the crop set in FLOW
