NEW! Package By Divider - Adding Subject Information to Envelopes in ROES
This feature is only available in the Volume Packaged Prints catalog in ROES and must have the Paper Portrait Envelope option selected in the shopping cart for the subject information to be printed on the envelopes.
The Package Divider product must be added to your Favorite packages or added before a subject's products in the shopping cart to have orders packaged in portrait envelopes
Starting 9/1/2021 if package dividers are not used in ROES, orders will not be packaged by subject in the lab
Subject data added to package divider text fields will be printed on the portrait envelopes - any fields left blank will not have information printed
How to use the Package Divider
The Package Divider product should be the FIRST item in the shopping cart; each Package Divider indicates the Start of the subject package
Enter data into the package divider text fields to be printed on the portrait envelopes - Any fields of the Package Divider left blank will not have any information printed
Items added after the Package Divider in the cart will be packaged together
Add the next Package Divider followed by the next subject's products and continue adding Package Divider and products
Any fields of the Package Divider left blank will not have any information printed for that section.
For example, the Group and ID fields of the Package Divider below would not have any information printed.
Two Ways to use the Package Divider within the Favorites
In the first example below the Package Divider has been saved within a package so that it can be added to the shopping cart simultaneously. This method works well when most of the subjects are only ordering single packages.
In the second example below the Package Divider is saved separately as an individual Favorite to be added to the shopping cart with the subject information before adding any packages or products to the shopping cart for that subject.
Bundling by Group Data
The Package Divider is great for having orders bundled by Group data or multiple poses of one subject packaged together.
The subject information entered in the text fields on the divider will be printed on each Paper Portrait Envelope.
Add subject packages for each group in sequence back-to-back to the shopping cart and leave a Special Instruction request asking to "bundle by group" so all of the envelopes for each matching group added in sequence are packed together between two pieces of chipboard.
Groups must be submitted in sequence; i.e. all of group 1 should be added to the cart first in the desired sequence, followed by group 2, etc.
Two Envelopes for One Subject
Once a new Package By Divider is added to the shopping cart, a new Paper Portrait Envelope will be used for the next set of products added to the shopping cart.
If you have two packages of prints for the same subject that were ordered by two different people (ie. divorced parents), add a Package Divider for each one and use the ID field of the Package Divider to note who should receive each envelope of prints.
In the example below, the Package Dividers in the shopping cart identify the products for Avery Smith (father) and Amy Smith (grandmother) based on what was entered in the ID fields of the Package Dividers.
