Can't Connect to SOCKS Proxy: Connection Refused - ROES on Mac (Catalina)

If an order will not send and displays the error message below, follow the steps below to correct,

Can't connect to SOCKS proxy: Connection refused
  1. Close ROES.

  2. Download and scan computer with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software. If no threats are found, skip to step 5. If threats are found, continue to step 3.

  3. If threats were found, quarantine them and reboot if prompted.

  4. Reopen ROES and try sending again. If the problem persists, continue to step 5.

  5. Open Apple System Preferences (Apple Logo in top-left) > System Preferences.

  6. Choose Network.

  7. Select the network you are using (Ethernet or Wi-Fi).

  8. Select Proxies tab.

  9. Deselect SOCKS Proxy.

  10. Add rtp.richmondprolab.net under option to "Bypass proxy settings for these Hosts & Domains".

  11. Click OK.

  12. Go back to Wi-Fi Tab and click apply Changes.
