How to Find and Replace Text in Subject Records

This is a great tool if a field is entered improperly or if the formatting needs to be adjusted for a given field (i.e. First Name, Last Name, etc.)
  1. Click on the binocular icon to open the Find Dialog tool

  2. To search and replace text:

    1. Select the Replace tab

    2. Type in the original text and select the appropriate field

    3. Only selected fields will be displayed

    4. To show other fields, go to the subject record, click Display Fields and check the fields that need to be displayed. You'll need to restart the software before newly checked fields will show up in the Search Field dropdown menu under Replace.

    5. Type in the updated text

    6. Click Replace to replace the original text

  3. The text will be updated only on those fields that match the search text.
